Why get rid of Rongen? What's Vanney track record? Any good players coming under Vanny watch?

Strange move as I doubt Rongen has underperformed in his role.

My guess is that they see Vanney as at least equal to Rongen in terms of what he can do, but Vanney will be their guy. I doubt there's a big philosophical difference....just hope that they'll continue the focus on technical skills instead of developing punt and chase skills.

Well that would be a terrible reason to get rid of Rongen. I hope it's for a better reason than "I didn't hire him". I can't say I know if Rongen is doing a good job or not, just that I was hoping he was doing a good job. But I guess Aparicio is the only player to be signed under Rongen's watch (but it's only been 2 years) and we haven't seen him play yet, so it's hard to say for sure that Rongen has been a success.

How does Vanney get a work permit ?
Seriously its hard to believe you can bring him in when qualified Canadians with equal licences etc. exist has TFC even advertised the job ?
Although TL might want to think of Canada as a 51 state so he can bring NFL to Toronto ... we are still a separate country ( at least till for now given Harpurs push to amalgamate Canada to the US ).
